Rain & Tears - a first animated music video

This animated music video was realised as part of a university project. It is my first animation longer than ten seconds.

The video portrays the story of a lost girl without a home who gets rejected by the adults she encounters on her journey through the rainy streets of a small town. Even though safe and protected a boy her age feels evenly misunderstood by his parents. Opposed to the perfectly organised life they wish for their child he craves freedom and autonomy. When the two children encounter they both reach out to meet half way where liberty and secureness combine. In the end both can finally feel at peace together.
